## Founders Iain and Jed have successfully grown Element78 over the past 18 years

The [Ucommerce Silver Partner](https://ucommerce.net/partners) [Element78](https://www.element78.co.uk/) is a Bristol-based digital agency. By working with both [Umbraco](https://umbraco.com/) and [Sitecore](https://www.sitecore.com/), Element78 saw the perfect fit for combining the CMSs with Ucommerce’s flexible e-commerce platform. With more than 18 years of experience in designing, building, and supporting web, the company builds high-quality digital solutions.

### Flexible and functional to the core

The partnership began in 2016 when Element78 inherited a site from a client who was already using Ucommerce. By working with the product, the digital agency quickly saw the potential in the flexible e-commerce solution. By adjusting the solution to fit their client's needs, the company can create future-fit e-commerce platforms tailored for the customers. And with the ability to integrate with Umbraco and Sitecore, Element78 can provide a bespoke solution that meets their clients’ needs.

> “The core of the product is great and does an awful lot of things. It also provides a lot of flexibility for us to implement our own elements into the system, which we see as a huge advantage”
> Jed Alder
> Founder & Director

In action, the Partnership between Element78 and Ucommerce has proven to be a strong technology package. The latest example is seen with the UK charity for girls and young women, “[Girlguiding](https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/)”, where Element78 combined Umbraco and Ucommerce to provide a flexible and functional solution. ### With the combination of creative thinking and web technology, Element78 is the platinum of digital agencies.

In the search for a company name reflecting their vision of creating high-quality products, Director Jed Alder came up with the word platinum which is called Element78 in the periodic table. And voila - a new name on the block was born. Today, the company have been around for 18 years and has created digital success for their clients with a focus on service and forming long-term partnerships.

A core belief in the team at Element78 is that they are passionate about what they do; therefore, passion will reflect in their work. With the benefit of having in-house digital experts all the way from Back-end Developers to User Experience specialists, Element78 provides their clients with a strong long-term partner who is with them every step of the way.

> “We aim to build long-term relationships that work for our customers and us. And that is why our team is so important to us.”
> Iain Rhodes
> Founder & Managing Director
