Maternity Cover for VP of Sales

- With high probability of permanent contract

Our VP of Sales is taking maternity leave from around mid-May and the following 12 months. 

We are looking for a self-driven, result-oriented, and experienced sales manager to take the overall responsibility of global sales at Ucommerce while she is away.

After the maternity cover, we can guarantee a permanent contract for a position at sales- or country manager level with a probability of 90%. Ucommerce is growing rapidly and we are looking at taking on one to three new high focus markets within the next 12-16 months.

The job

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Overall responsibility for new sales on all markets - direct and through partners (most sales are through partners)
  • Heading a small and self-driving team of our UK/Ireland Country Manager and Head of Partnerships
  • Hands-on market responsibility for Denmark and Sweden
  • Implementing our new partner model (to be launched around March or April)
  • Sales forecasting and follow up
  • Part of the management team
  • Participating in tech festivals and conferences around the world organized by our agency- and technology partners
  • Expect 40-50 days of traveling/year

You

Our dream candidate would look something like this:

  • Result-oriented - you love beating your own numbers and would rather kick yourself in the face than not meeting the target
  • Self-driven - you are energetic, proactive, and confident
  • At least three years of experience from tech sales
  • Previous experience at the level of sales manager, partner manager, or large account manager
  • Preferably experience within ecommerce or content management space
  • You are a really nice person that can be both ambitious and pleasant to be around at the same time.
